Which RV Clubs Should I Join?

There are A LOT of different RV clubs or RV membership groups out there and it can be really overwhelming! I have compiled a list of groups below that I am currently a member of and fully support!

Escapees: This was the very first group that I signed up with and they are my favorite. They offer many different benefits for joining, including a fantastic network of fellow RV’ers and meet-up events. I really like that Escapees is a family ran business going back three generations! I also use their mail service and I love it!

If you have any questions about Escapees, please reach out to me or leave a comment below. If you sign up, I’d love it if you used my link! https://www.escapees.com/refer/TheJason

Harvest Hosts: One thing to know about my preferred travel style is that I don’t like staying in RV campgrounds. I really like dry camping / boondocking and is the perfect membership for that! Usually, your best chance on finding dry camping spots is far removed outside of a town but this is a membership of businesses (wineries, breweries, farms and golf clubs) who will let you park on their property for a night! In exchange for the free night of camping, it is encouraged to buy something local from them (a bottle of wine, a beer, eggs, etc). Not only is it practically a free night BUT the property you are on is usually gorgeous!

Here is a list of business reviews I have done of Harvest Host locations: https://travelingjason.com/category/harvesthosts/

If you have any questions about Harvest Hosts, please reach out to me or leave a comment below. If you sign up, I’d love it if you used my link! You’ll get 15% off and I’ll receive $15 off my membership: http://harvesthosts.refr.cc/thejason

Here is a list of RV Clubs that I previously joined but have not renewed my membership with:

Boondockers Welcome: This is a group of kind souls who will let you dry camp in their driveway from a night or two. I like to call it driveway surfing. The concept is awesome and very similar to Harvest Hosts, of which I preferred. I decided that I only wanted to keep one or the other.

Good Sam: I joined this group because there was a great deal going for a gift card at the time that made the membership nearly free the first year. I haven’t found a lot of value in this membership since the initial sign-up so I will cancel this one once it expires.
