Greetings from… Phuket, Thailand!
The boyfriend and I had fun exploring more of Singapore together: the Flower Dome, the Chinese Garden, a Lego art exhibit and the world famous waterfall at the Singapore Airport.
On the third week, we went to three Christmas parties. One of my favorite parts of traveling is when I get invited to any kind of party at somebody's house. I always feel a major sense of achievement. It makes me feel like I have sucessfully explored an area once I make it to a house party. I love being able to see how local live, what their house is like, how they decorate, etc. There is usually really good food at house parties also.
The boyfriend and I are both total fanboys of the traveling and the beach. We wanted to get away from Singapore so we flew out on our first trip together to Phuket, Thailand. To be honest, the first part of the trip was a little bit rough, trying to figure out each other’s travel style. He is the overly-planned and detail-type while I’m more of the “let’s go with the flow” type. A lot of my friends who have traveled with me before are LOL'ing at this right now. The drinks are cheap in Thailand and we have been bar hopping, lounging by the pool and relaxing on the beach for the last week! We had a really fun New Years Eve too! Cheers to 2025! :-)
