Greetings from Indio, California
From China, I flew back to Singapore with Avy for a couple weeks. On April 10th, I was very excited to be taking Avy on his first trip to USA! We flew into Las Vegas, picked up my van and road tripped down to Indio, California for Coachella. When I saw Lady Gaga was the Friday night headliner and Green Day was headlining Saturday night, I quickly bought our tickets. Music worlds were colliding for me & I knew we had to be there for it! It was my second Coachella and I had a great time but Avy loved it very much. He has started making plans to go again next year.
After Coachella, we went down to Los Angeles for a couple days. We explored Santa Monica and West Hollywood.
After LA, we road tripped back to Vegas for WrestleMania 41! This was my 13th WrestleMania & it was a little bittersweet because it might be one of my last. A $1,000 ticket for two nights on the 3rd level just isn’t worth it to me. I still plan to travel to Mania if it’s going to be in a fun city but I’ll be perfectly happy going to a watch party or streaming it from my hotel room. WWE will always be my 1st love but it was going to Mania every year that introduced me to my 2nd love: travel. That $1,000 ticket will be better spent on a trip! 💋
After Vegas, we flew into Vancouver, Canada for 24 hours in order to fly direct to Singapore. This was actually my first time in Canada so I was excited to check another country off my list. We had a cute day exploring downtown and having one of my favorites: shawarma.
