Greetings from Hong Kong!
Even though I’m pretty much living in Singapore now, I am only in the country on a tourist visa and I usually only stay for around 2 months at a time before I take a trip somewhere out of the country for a little bit before returning.
ATTENTION FRIENDS: If you are traveling overseas, let me know, and I might be able to meet up with you!
In October, I traveled to Hong Kong for 10 days because one of my close friends, Elena, was going to be there on a work trip.
On this trip, Elena also had a couple of flight attendant friends who were also visiting Hong Kong at the same time. They also had a couple of locals who showed us around, so that worked out great.
On the trip, I also did a couple of firsts: I did one of those big red “hop on, hop off” bus tours. I’ve always thought they were a little bit cheesy, and they are, however, it also kind of won me over at the same time. I’d definitely do one of these again in the future.
I did a street food tour for a few hours one day, and I love this. I did this tour near the end of my trip, and I’ll definitely make it a point to do this again, but earlier in my trip.
