Escapees RV Club / Harvest Hosts

When I hit the road in September 2018, one of the things I was worried about the most was missing my friends and sense of community. I had lived in the downtown Omaha area for 18 years prior to going full-time in my RV and had built up a really strong group of buddies to hang out with. Thankfully just one month into my journey, I went to my first RV rally & met another RV’er around my age who highly recommended the Xscapers group. At her recommendation, I bought a ticket to their upcoming annual bash in January and I definitely didn’t regret it!

One of my favorite things about the Escapees organization is how much the organization is an advocate for the full-time RV community! Escapees is a tremendous resource and community! If you are thinking about going full-time, I highly recommend that you join them!

In 2024, they merged with another one of my favorite RV companies: Harvest Hosts! Harvest Hosts allows for overnight camping in some really unique places besides just an RV campground! Examples of places include breweries, farms, golf courses, etc!
